2025 edition

At the 2025 edition of Maritime Business Week, held in Constanța between May 20–23, the event was defined by a diverse and impactful program of activities, consolidating its status as a leading platform for the maritime and logistics industry in the Black Sea region. The event brought together professionals, decision-makers, and international delegations for four days of exhibitions, conferences, and networking opportunities. A highlight of this year’s edition was the celebration of Constanța Port Day, organized for the first time in Constanța, in close partnership with the Maritime Ports Administration (CN APMC). The dedicated program included an official port tour for exhibitors and invited officials, followed by a full day of conferences addressing topics such as strategic rail corridors, port infrastructure projects, Ro-Ro developments, maritime medical safety, and the green transition in the port sector. The Tomis Maritime Expo, which took place from May 20 to 22, featured over 50 exhibitors representing port operations, logistics, shipbuilding, industrial equipment, crewing, education, and maritime services. Notably, the exhibition included two national pavilions, hosted by Georgia and Bulgaria, and welcomed visitors from more than 10 countries, reflecting the event's growing international dimension. The opening ceremony gathered a high-level audience, including ambassadors and diplomatic representatives from nine countries – Georgia, Greece, Bulgaria, Turkey, Serbia, the Netherlands, South Korea, Vietnam, and Brazil – alongside Romanian authorities and business leaders, showcasing the strategic importance of the event at both regional and global levels. Another important milestone was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Chambers of Commerce of Constanța and Burgas, reinforcing regional cooperation and shared objectives in maritime development. The week concluded on May 23 with the Maritime Business Dinner, a festive and elegant networking event designed to foster informal dialogue among exhibitors, partners, and institutional stakeholders. This year’s edition reaffirmed Constanța’s role as a dynamic hub for maritime dialogue and European cooperation and set the stage for new strategic partnerships in the region and beyond.

2024 edition

At this year's edition of Maritime Business Week, the event was marked by a series of engaging and relevant activities and conferences for the maritime industry. On the 26th and 27th, conferences addressing current themes and industry challenges were held, attracting numerous experts and professionals. A highlight of the event was the Romania-Georgia International Forum, which provided a valuable platform for discussions and bilateral collaborations between representatives of the two countries. The Forum was an excellent opportunity to explore new partnerships and strengthen economic and trade relations. The official opening ceremony was attended by ambassadors and diplomatic representatives from 7 countries: Georgia, Serbia, Greece, Turkey, Brazil, South Korea, and Vietnam, underscoring the global importance and impact of the event. Additionally, visitors from over 10 countries were recorded, reflecting international interest. On June 27th, there was a demonstration with a waste collection vessel, and on the 28th, sports demonstrations were organized on Lake Tăbăcăriei, adding dynamism and energy to this memorable edition of Maritime Business Week. At the end of the day, the event concluded with a festive dinner, providing a moment for relaxation and socialization in an elegant setting conducive to networking and idea exchange.

2023 edition

In its second edition, the event included a seminar held during the day focusing on Free Trade Agreements, featuring representatives from the Customs Directorate. Secondly, there was a networking dinner, offering attendees the opportunity to connect and engage in informal discussions, fostering relationships and collaborations among participants from various sectors. This gathering brought together major port operators and key economic players whose activities shape the dynamics of the Port of Constanța. Amidst an exclusive ambiance, the Constanța Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Shipping, and Agriculture facilitated direct communication channels among economic stakeholders operating within the same sphere. These stakeholders share common national economic objectives and are interconnected in driving the aggregate economic progression of the port. Among them are companies and port operators, providers of port and agency services, ship inspection operators, carriers, tug companies, banks, and more.

2022 edition

The first edition of the "Constanța Maritime Business Dinner", initiated and organized by the Constanța Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Shipping, and Agriculture, brought together the largest port operators, top players in the Romanian economy who together represent the dynamics of the Port of Constanța. For the first time, in an elitist setting, the Chamber gathered them under the auspices of the same visions, interests, and national economic policies, all of those interconnected in the aggregate economic evolution of the port, such as: companies and port operators, providers of port and agency services, ship inspection operators, carriers, tug companies, and the list goes on.
