Maritime Business Week, now in its 4th edition, is the largest event in Romania dedicated to the maritime and transport industries, bringing together industry leaders, international investors, and officials. The 2025 edition will mark an absolute first with the organization of the Constanța Port Day, in partnership with the National Company for the Administration of Maritime Ports Constanța. This initiative will highlight the strategic importance of the Port of Constanța in global trade, offering a unique platform to promote international economic relations and foster new business opportunities. Through a combination of conferences, exhibitions, and networking sessions, Maritime Business Week 2025 will continue to strengthen the connection between the maritime business community and investors, significantly contributing to the economic development of the region.

Discover the port of constanta

The ports of Constanta (with Constanta zone and Midia zone) and Mangalia and also the Tomis Marina are public-private maritime ports owned by the Romanian State which is responsible for their regulation and function. The National Company “Maritime Ports Administration” S.A. Constanta (MPA) is a company under the authority of the Ministry of Transports and Infrastructure.

Maritime Business Week is an European Maritime Day in My Country event

EMD in My Country events aim to raise awareness about the importance of the oceans and seas and to engage the public, particularly young people. The objective is for people to realize that activities at sea (coastal tourism, fishing, sailing, shipping, offshore renewable energy, aquaculture etc.) are key for the EU’s citizens and economies. The European Maritime Day in My Country events are the public side of the European Maritime Day, the annual event organized by the European Commission during which the Europe’s maritime community is invited to network, discuss and outline action on maritime affairs.
