The ports of Constanta (with Constanta zone and Midia zone) and Mangalia and also the Tomis Marina are public-private maritime ports owned by the Romanian State which is responsible for their regulation and function. The National Company “Maritime Ports Administration” S.A. Constanta (MPA) is a company under the authority of the Ministry of Transports and Infrastructure.

Constanta Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Shipping and Agriculture (CCINA Constanta) is an autonomous, legal entity, non-governmental, public utility, apolitical, non-patrimonial, nonprofit organization, with the aim to represent, support and enhance the interests of its members and those of the business community, regarding relations with public authorities, domestic and foreign entities. Maritime Business Week is an European Maritime Day in My Country event
EMD in My Country events aim to raise awareness about the importance of the oceans and seas and to engage the public, particularly young people. The objective is for people to realize that activities at sea (coastal tourism, fishing, sailing, shipping, offshore renewable energy, aquaculture etc.) are key for the EU’s citizens and economies. The European Maritime Day in My Country events are the public side of the European Maritime Day, the annual event organized by the European Commission during which the Europe’s maritime community is invited to network, discuss and outline action on maritime affairs.
